Fun with Short Length Hairstyles for Women

Easy does not mean boring. Short length hairstyles for women are a breeze to manage, but this does not mean wearing them the same way day in and day out for days on end. Fun ways in which you can style your short hair abound. All of them are modern. All of them are sassy. And you can do all of them by yourself given just a few deft strokes acquired through constant practice.

Sultry and Wet Look

Get that wet tousled look with wide spikes of hair. Work mousse into your damp hair first to ensure that your spikes would hold their shape. Then, make random-sized spikes with thick chunks of hair. You can also add a spritz or two of shine spray to give your locks added appeal after you mousse it. Great for layered short hair, this simple style should look unstyled and somewhat messy on purpose.

Modernized Classic Bobs

The classic bob possesses a timeless chic appeal that neither changes nor breaks no matter the trend. Presented in a variety of shapes and forms, bobs can either be defined or shaped to frame the face. Though definite in appearance, bobs need not be worn the same way all the time. Try wearing your bangs or fringes on a different side. This side-swept look takes little time and effort. A spritz of hairspray or a bit of gel would secure it in place. For a change, or if you find hair on your eyes or face annoying, you can hold up your fringes with clips. Depending on your preference, fancy or classic solid-hued clips and barrettes would add cuteness and pizzazz to an otherwise simple look.

Very Short, Very Pretty Dos

Very short hair draws focus to your eyes. Such haircuts look great especially on narrow-faced women with good facial skin. Spruce up very short hair with a bit of wave on the top and crown area. Though simple, waves create texture while boosting volume. Multi-textured short hair would look fantastic with either bangs or a short choppy fringe. Styling very short hair that is normal and thick can be done easily with the aid of a mousse. Use fingers to whip your hair into your desired style and let dy naturally. If you have fine hair, however, using a hair dryer would give your style more texture. Cap it off with some styling wax to better help you achieve that edgy, modern look.
